Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Semnan University

 

The Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Semnan University has its roots in the Faculty of Teacher Training, which was established in 1991 with the proposal of Semnan University and the cooperation of the people of Mehdishahr. Initially, this faculty began its activities by accepting undergraduate students in mathematics (teaching and pure). Considering the need of the community and the region for psychology and educational science specialists, in  2001 The name of the faculty was changed to the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and it began to recruit students in the undergraduate field of clinical psychology. In the following years, the faculty grew and expanded and currently recruits and accepts students in psychology,  educational  management and information science and epistemology .

Laboratory

The faculty laboratory in the human, experimental, and animal departments includes a set of educational tools and equipment , pencil tests , and Paper , software and psychological films , and advanced psychological devices and equipment that have created the ability to conduct research projects in the laboratory and are used in various subjects including: experimental psychology, learning psychology, psychology of emotion and perception, and physiological psychology, etc. It is used by students as well They can use them to present articles, research, and theses .

 

 

Scientific Journals

The Journal of Clinical Psychology is an open access scientific journal published quarterly in Persian with English abstracts under the license of Semnan University and in collaboration with the Iranian Psychological Association. This journal is recognized as a core journal in the Islamic World Scientific Journals (ISC) system and organizes and publishes  9 to 14 articles in each issue after the review process and approval of the editorial board.
